Joshua Denbeaux is Partner at Denbeaux & Denbeaux concentrating his practice on financial consumer rights and civil rights litigation.

Mr. Denbeaux received his law degree in 1994 from Seton Hall University after completing his undergraduate work at The College of Wooster. He is licensed to practice in the New Jersey Superior Courts and in the United States District Courts for New Jersey.

Mr. Denbeaux has represented thousands of victims of foreclosure proceedings, he has argued to the Appellate Division of New Jersey over 100 times and he has won before the Supreme Court for the State of New Jersey. He also represents consumers in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.

With his father, Mark Denbeaux, Mr. Denbeaux is the co-founder of the Seton Hall Law School Center for Policy and Research, and they are co-authors of eight reports regarding the government’s conduct towards their clients and towards all the prisoners on the base. Together, Mr. Denbeaux and his father represent detainees held at the Guantanamo Bay Naval Facility, in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
In 2007, Mr. Denbeaux separated from the Center in order to represent a Guantanamo Bay Whistleblower against the Bush Administration.

Since 2008, Mr. Denbeaux has dedicated his practice exclusively to the protection of consumers victimized by the financial industry. He has multiple six figure settlements against mortgage servicers and lenders and he looks forward to serving consumers in New Jersey and throughout the country as we all work through the financial fallout from this pandemic together.
